ANG BATAS NG BAGONG NILIKHA

 

ANG ATING HULING DALAWANG ARAL ay tungkol sa Pagka-Panginoon ni Kristo, na siyang Ulo ng Bagong Nilikha. Colosas 1:18, "At siya ang ulo ng katawan, ang iglesia; na siyang pasimula, ang panganay sa mga patay, upang sa lahat ng mga bagay ay magkaroon siya ng kataas-taasan." Nakita natin na ang pagka-Panginoon ni Kristo, ang ating ulo, sa kasalanan, sakit, Satanas at mga pangyayari, ay nangangahulugan na tayo ay malaya mula sa kanila gaya Niya. Ang pagiging Panginoon ni Kristo ay nangangahulugan na ang kasalanan at sakit ay hindi na mga problema, hindi na mga isyu sa Bagong Nilikha. Hindi na kailangang magkaroon ng mga pakikibaka sa kasalanan, wala nang pakikipaglaban sa Kaaway, isang pagkilos lamang ayon sa Salita ng Diyos.

Habang pinag-aaralan natin ang kasaysayan ng simbahan, makikita natin kung gaano kaliit ang pagkakaunawa ng mga dakilang espirituwal na pinuno sa Katubusan. Sa loob ng isang libong taon sa Panahon ng Madilim, ang paghahayag ng isang Pagtubos kay Kristo na hiwalay sa mga gawa ay nawala sa simbahan. Ang madilim na panahong iyon ay nagkaroon ng impluwensya sa panahon mula sa Repormasyon hanggang sa kasalukuyan, kaya't naging mahirap para sa simbahan na makakita ng ganap na Pagtubos. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbabasa ng anumang libro tungkol sa karanasan ng mga sikat na Kristiyano sa nakaraan, makikita natin kung gaano kalaki ang problema sa kasalanan at kahinaan sa kanilang buhay, at kung gaano kaliit ang kanilang naiintindihan.

Pagtubos. Ang mensahe nitong Pahayag ng Katubusan ay malinaw na ipinapakita sa atin ng Diyos na ang problema sa kasalanan ay naayos na. Ang aklat ng Hebreo ay ang Kanyang komentaryo sa katotohanang ito. Ipinakita niya sa atin na minsan at magpakailanman ay inalis ni Kristo ang kasalanan at hindi na kailangan pang mag-alay para sa kasalanan. Siya ay nasisiyahan sa Kanyang gawain kay Kristo.

Basahin at pag-aralang mabuti ang sumusunod na mga kasulatan: Hebreo 9:12, 26, 10:10, 14, 18.

Ang simbahan ay nakipagpunyagi sa problema sa kasalanan sa harap ng katotohanang ipinahayag ng Diyos sa Kanyang Salita na Kanyang inayos na ito at hindi na kailangan pang mag-alay para sa kasalanan, at wala nang pagharap dito. Ipinakita sa atin ng Diyos na ang Bagong Nilikha ay napalaya kahit sa kamalayan ng kasalanan. Pansinin ang Hebreo 10:1-3, "Sapagka't ang kautusan na may anino ng mabubuting bagay na darating, hindi ang mismong larawan ng mga bagay, ay hindi kailanman makapagpapasakdal sa mga nagsisilapit. Kung hindi hindi ba sila tumigil sa paghahandog? Sapagka't ang mga mananamba na nalinis na ay wala nang kamalayan sa mga kasalanan."

Pansinin na ang Salita ay nagpapahayag na ang mga sakripisyo sa ilalim ng Lumang Tipan ay hindi naging perpekto sa mga nag-aalok. Sinasabi niya sa atin na kung mayroon sila, ang mga mananamba ay napalaya na sana mula sa kamalayan ng kasalanan. Samakatuwid, hindi nasiyahan ang Diyos (basahin ang ikalima at ikalabing-apat na talata ng parehong kabanata) at isinugo ang Kanyang Anak upang magawa Niya ang hindi kayang gawin ng batas at ng mga sakripisyo nito, iyon ay, gawing perpekto ang mga nag-alay sa kanila. Ipinahayag niya sa ikalabing-apat na talata, "Sapagka't sa pamamagitan ng isang handog ay kaniyang ginawang ganap magpakailanman ang mga pinapaging banal." Kanyang ginawang perpekto ang Bagong Nilikha sa pamamagitan ng ganap na walang hanggang Pagtubos.

Hebrews 9:12, "Datapuwa't sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang sariling dugo ay pumasok na minsan magpakailan man sa dakong banal, na nagkamit ng walang hanggang pagtubos para sa atin." Pinalaya Niya ang Bagong Nilikha mula sa kamalayan ng kasalanan. Ginawa ni Satanas ang simbahan na malay-tao sa kasalanan kung ito ay dapat sana ay may kamalayan sa pag-ibig. Sa pag-iisip nito sa problema sa kasalanan, hindi nasagot ng simbahan ang tunay na isyu. Sa pamamagitan ng pag-iisip na pinamumunuan ng isang kamalayan sa kasalanan, ang simbahan ay nabigo na magkaroon ng pag-iisip ni Kristo.

Ang Isyu sa Pag-ibig

Mayroon lamang isang isyu sa Bagong Paglikha, at iyon ay "Paglalakad sa Pag-ibig." Mayroon lamang isang batas na namamahala sa Bagong Nilikha, at iyon ay ang batas ng Pag-ibig. May isang utos na ibinigay, ang utos ng Pag-ibig. Juan 13:34-35, "Isang bagong utos ang ibinibigay ko sa inyo na kayo'y mag-ibigan sa isa't isa, gaya ng pag-ibig ko sa inyo, na kayo'y mangagibigan naman. Sa ganito'y malalaman ng lahat na kayo ay aking mga alagad, kung mayroon kayong mahalin ang isa't isa." Ang isang suliranin na kinakaharap ng Bagong Nilalang ay ibinigay sa atin sa Filipos 2:5-6, "Magkaroon kayo ng ganitong pag-iisip na na kay Cristo Jesus din, na, na umiiral sa anyo ng Diyos, ay hindi ibinilang ang pagkatao sa isang pagkakapantay-pantay sa Ang Diyos ay isang bagay na dapat hawakan, ngunit hinubad ang Kanyang sarili, na nag-anyong alipin, na ginawang kawangis ng tao, at nasumpungan sa anyo ng tao,

Ipinaalam Niya sa atin dito na inaasahan Niya na ang Bagong Nilikha ay may kaparehong pag-iisip na mayroon si Kristo. Ito ay nagpapakita ng kumpletong Pagtubos. Ang Makapangyarihang Diyos ng sansinukob ay nagsasabi, "Natubos na kita nang lubusan mula sa kasalanan, kahinaan, sakit, mga pangyayari, at lahat ng gawain ng Kalaban, na inaasahan kong ikaw ay may kaisipang gaya ng aking Anak. Bilang isang tao iniisip sa kanyang puso, gayon din siya." Ang sinasabi Niya, "Nais kong mag-isip ka gaya ng iniisip ng Aking Anak. Nais kong matulad ka sa Kanya; mamuhay tulad ng Kanyang mamumuhay kung Siya ang nasa iyong lugar, kumilos ayon sa Kanyang gagawin, maging kung ano Siya. " "Magkaroon ng ganitong pag-iisip sa iyo na kay Cristo Jesus." Ito ang isyung kinakaharap ng Bagong Paglikha. Ang pag-iisip ni Kristo ay ang pag-ibig na saloobin. Alam natin kung ano ang pag-ibig sa pamamagitan ng Pahayag ng Kanyang buhay.

I Juan 3:16, "Sa ganito'y nakikilala natin ang pag-ibig, sapagka't ibinigay niya ang kaniyang buhay para sa atin, at nararapat nating ialay ang ating buhay para sa mga Kapatid." Siya ay umiral sa anyo ng Diyos. Lahat ng Diyos noon, Siya noon. Siya ang mismong larawan ng Kanyang sangkap. Hebreo 1:3. Nag-isip siya gaya ng iniisip ng Diyos. Namuhay siya tulad ng pamumuhay ng Diyos. Nagmahal siya gaya ng pagmamahal ng Diyos. Siya ay umiral sa anyo ng Diyos.

Siya ay lubos na kaisa ng Diyos kaya't sinabi Niya kay Felipe, "Ang nakakita sa akin ay nakakita sa Ama" (Juan 14:9). Talagang sinasabi niya, "Philip, sa loob ng tatlong taon na kasama mo ako nakita mo ang Ama, ang mismong sangkap ng Kanyang kalikasan. Sa aking mga aksyon nakita mo ang mga aksyon ng Ama; sa aking mga salita narinig mo ang mga salita ng Ama. ; sa akin ay nakita ninyo ang Ama, sapagkat tayo ay iisa."

Siya ay umiral sa anyo ng Diyos. Lahat ng salitang "Diyos" ay nangangahulugang, Siya noon. Nabuhay Siya sa ganap na pagkakapantay-pantay sa Kanya. Hindi mauunawaan ng ating isipan ang kahulugan ng salitang "Diyos," sapagkat ang ating isipan ay gawa ng Kanyang isip at Kanyang mga kamay; ngunit "ang langit ay nagpapahayag ng kaluwalhatian ng Diyos; at ang kalawakan ay nagpapakita ng Kanyang mga gawa." Pinag-aaralan natin ang Uniberso sa paligid natin, mulat sa katotohanan na ito ay kanyang gawa. Ang kadakilaan ng Uniberso ay lampas sa ating pang-unawa. Hindi natin maarok ang distansya ng mga bituin na quintillion milya ang layo. Alam natin na ang Lumikha ng gawaing ito ay mas dakila. Alam natin na sa domain ng invisible atom ay ipinakita ang parehong matalinong pagkakasunud-sunod na namamahala sa Uniberso ng mga bituin. Alam natin na ang Lumikha ay kasing talino ng matalinong pagkakasunud-sunod ng Paglikha.

Ang Uniberso ay naglalaman ng mga personal na nilalang na nag-iisip, nakadarama, nagmamahal, nagdurusa, pumipili at nagpapasiya. Alam natin na ang Lumikha ng mga personal na nilalang ay dapat na personal.

Ang ibig sabihin ng salitang "Diyos" sa atin. Lahat ng ibig sabihin nito, Siya nga. Siya ay isang Diyos ng pag-ibig, at ang pag-ibig ang nagpilit sa Kanya na gawin ang mga sumusunod: Inalis Niya ang Kanyang sarili sa Kanyang kaluwalhatian. Kinuha niya ang anyo ng isang lingkod, Siya na kapantay ng Diyos. Siya ay natagpuan sa moda at pagkakahawig ng tao. Ipinalit niya ang anyo ng Diyos sa anyo ng tao.

Siya, ang Lumikha, ay kumuha ng anyo ng Kanyang sariling gawa; Siya, ang Lumikha, ay nagbakante at nilimitahan ang Kanyang sarili sa lawak na Siya ay nabuhay at lumakad sa Kanyang sariling Nilikha. Siya na kung saan nilikha ang malawak, walang limitasyon, walang sukat na Uniberso, ay nanirahan sa maliit na planetang ito, ang ating lupa. Ang Paniniwala ni Kristo sa Pag-ibig

Itatanong natin kung bakit Niya ginawa ito, kung bakit napakadakila nitong sakripisyo ng Isa. Ang sagot, ang Anak ng Diyos ay naniwala sa pag-ibig. Ang Diyos ay pag-ibig. Dito naipakikita ang Kanyang Pag-ibig. Romans 5:6-8, "Sapagka't noong tayo'y mahihina pa, si Cristo ay namatay sa takdang panahon para sa mga makasalanan. Sapagka't mahirap ang sinumang mamatay para sa isang taong matuwid, sapagkat marahil ay may mangahas na mamatay para sa mabuting tao. Ngunit ang Diyos Ipinagmamalaki ang Kanyang sariling pag-ibig sa atin na, nang tayo'y makasalanan pa, si Kristo ay namatay para sa atin."

Romans 15:3, "Sapagka't si Cristo ay hindi rin naman kinalugdan ang kaniyang sarili, kundi, gaya ng nasusulat, ang mga kakutyaan ng mga dumudusta sa iyo ay nahulog sa akin." Ang mga panlalait ng tao na tumutuligsa sa Diyos ay nahulog sa Kanya. Ang mga kasalanan ng tao, na nagkasala laban sa Diyos, ay nahulog sa Kanya. Ang paghatol ng tao ay nahulog sa Kanya. Ang mga sakit, ang mga kahinaan ng tao ay nahulog sa Kanya. Dito naipakikita ang Kanyang pag-ibig. Hinarap ng anak ng Diyos ang problema ng kasalanan, ang pagpasok nito sa mundo sa pamamagitan ng krimen ni Adan ng mataas na pagtataksil, at ang paghahari nito sa sangkatauhan.

Alam Niya na sa pamamagitan ng pag-aalay ng Kanyang Sarili ay maitatabi Niya ito. Alam Niya na maaari Siyang magdusa bilang kahalili ng tao. Alam Niya na maaari Niyang gawing wala si Satanas sa ngalan ng tao. Naniwala Siya sa pag-ibig, at sinunod Niya ang dikta ng pag-ibig. Alam niya ang gantimpala ng pag-ibig. Alam Niya ang kagalakang inilagay sa Kanyang harapan nang ang pag-ibig ay nagtagumpay. Alam niya ang ani na aanihin ng pag-ibig. Alam niyang mananaig ang pag-ibig.

Ang Problema ng Bagong Paglikha

Ngayon, ang problema, ang isyu, na kinakaharap ng Bagong Nilalang ay ang problemang kinaharap ni Kristo. Ang taong naging Bagong Nilalang kay Kristo ay nahaharap sa pangangailangan ng taong patay sa espirituwal. Hindi ipinagkaloob sa kanya na mamatay para sa kanila gaya ng ginawa ni Kristo, ngunit ang kanyang lugar ay kasinghalaga ng kay Kristo. Sa Bagong Nilikha ay ibinigay ang mensahe ng Katubusan na ibibigay sa sangkatauhan. Pag-aralan ng mabuti ang II Corinto 5:18-19, "Datapuwa't ang lahat ng mga bagay ay sa Dios, na siyang nagpapagkasundo sa atin sa kaniyang sarili sa pamamagitan ni Cristo, at nagbigay sa amin ng ministeryo ng pakikipagkasundo; sa makatuwid baga'y, na ang Dios ay kay Cristo na ipinagkasundo ang sanglibutan sa kaniyang sarili, hindi Ibinibilang sa kanila ang kanilang mga pagsalangsang, at nang ipinagkatiwala sa amin ang salita ng pakikipagkasundo, kami nga ay mga sugo sa ngalan ni Cristo."

Ang gawain ni Kristo ay magbigay ng pagkakasundo sa pagitan ng Diyos at ng tao. Colosas 1:20, "At sa pamamagitan Niya ay ipagkasundo ang lahat ng mga bagay sa Kanyang sarili, na ginawa ang kapayapaan sa pamamagitan ng dugo ng Kanyang krus; sa pamamagitan Niya, sinasabi ko, maging ang mga bagay sa lupa, o ang mga bagay sa langit." Gayundin ang talatang 22, "Gayunpaman, ngayon ay pinakipagkasundo Niya sa katawan ng Kanyang laman sa pamamagitan ng kamatayan upang iharap kayo na banal at walang dungis at walang kapintasan sa harapan Niya."

Ang Efeso 2:11-22 ay nagpapakita rin ng Kanyang pakikipagkasundo sa pagitan ng Diyos at ng tao. Ang Diyos ay kay Kristo na pinagkasundo ang mundo sa Kanyang sarili; ngunit ipinagkatiwala Niya sa atin, ang Bagong Tao kay Kristo, ang mensahe ng Pagkakasundo."

Si Kristo ay naniwala sa Pag-ibig at ginawa ang Kanyang bahagi. Tila nabigo ang Pagtubos. Iilan lamang ang naabot ng mensahe ng pagkakasundo. Ngunit ang Diyos ay hindi nabigo; Si Kristo ay hindi nabigo. Ang Katawan ni Kristo ang nabigong magbigay ng mensahe ng Katubusan sa sangkatauhan. Kung ang Katawan ni Kristo ay kapareho ng pag-iisip ni Kristo, iba sana ang kasaysayan ng mundo. Nakita ni Pablo ang tunay na isyu na kinakaharap ng Bagong Paglikha. Ibinigay Niya ito sa atin sa II Corinto 5:13-14, "Sapagka't kung kami'y mga sira ang ulo, ay sa Dios: kung kami'y matino ang pag-iisip ay sa inyo. ang isa ay namatay para sa lahat: kaya't ang lahat ay namatay."

Naniniwala si Paul sa pag-ibig hanggang sa pinaniniwalaan na siya ay wala sa sarili. Ang sagot ni Paul ay, "Ang pag-ibig ni Kristo ay humawak sa aking puso. Napagtanto ko na ang kamatayan ni Kristo ay ang kamatayan ng bawat tao." Ang parehong pag-ibig na naging sanhi ng pagkamatay ni Kristo para sa tao ay pumipigil sa puso ni Pablo at naging dahilan upang mabuhay siya para sa kanila. Ang saloobin ng pag-ibig ay ito, "Mahal ko sila na parang namatay ako para sa kanila." Ang pag-ibig ay gagawin tayong mga ambassador na sabik na manalo ng mga tao na para bang tayo ay namatay upang ibigay ang pagkakasundo. Nakuha ni Paul ang pangitain ng pag-ibig. Ang dakilang Imperyo ng Roma ay na-ebanghelyo sa kalakhan sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga pagsisikap. Naniwala si Pablo sa pag-ibig, kaya't sa paganong mundo siya ay napunta bilang embahador ni Kristo, lubos na nababatid na ang kanyang mensahe ay magiging isang pagkakasala sa Hudyo, kahangalan sa Griyego, at isang biro sa mga Romano.

Ngunit alam niya na ang mensahe lamang ng Pakikipagkasundo kay Kristo ang tutugon sa pangangailangan ng tao.

Ang patotoo ng pag-ibig ay ang mga sumusunod: "Ako ay lubos na malugod na gugugol at gugugol para sa inyong mga kaluluwa" (II Mga Taga Corinto 12:15). Sinasabi ng Diyos, "Nais kong magmahal ka gaya ng pag-ibig ng aking Anak. Kaya mo, sapagkat tayo ay iisa. Ang aking kalikasan ay sa iyo; Ang aking pag-ibig ay sa iyo." Hinihiling Niya sa atin na sumuko sa Kapanginoon ng Kanyang Pag-ibig sa loob natin. Roma 5:5, "Sapagka't ang pag-ibig ng Dios ay ibinuhos sa ating mga puso sa pamamagitan ng Espiritu Santo na ibinigay sa atin."

Ang Ephesians 3:16-19 ay atin, "Upang ipagkaloob Niya sa inyo ang ayon sa kayamanan ng Kanyang kaluwalhatian upang kayo ay palakasin ng kapangyarihan sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang espiritu sa panloob na pagkatao upang si Kristo ay manahan sa inyong mga puso sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya; Kayo, palibhasa'y nakaugat at nakasalig sa pag-ibig, ay maging malakas upang maunawaan kasama ng lahat ng mga banal kung ano ang lapad at haba at taas at lalim, at malaman ang pag-ibig ni Cristo na lampas sa kaalaman, at upang kayo ay mapuspos ng buong kapuspusan. ng Diyos." Ang pag-ibig ay dinadala ang mga kahinaan ng mahihina na para bang ito ay sarili nitong kahinaan. Hindi kinalugdan ni Kristo ang Kanyang sarili ngunit kinuha ang mga kasalanan, sakit, at paghatol ng iba. Ang pag-ibig ay hindi pumupuna o humahatol, ngunit ang pag-ibig ay magiging sanhi ng Bagong Nilikha kay Kristo na manalangin para sa isang pinamumunuan ng kasalanan na para bang siya ay ginawang kasalanan para sa isang iyon. Ang pag-ibig ang magiging dahilan upang tayo ay manalangin para sa mga maysakit na para bang tayo ang nagdala ng kanilang mga sakit at dinala ang kanilang mga sakit. THE LAW OF THE NEW CREATION

OUR LAST TWO LESSONS have been on the Lordship of Christ, who is the Head of the New Creation. Colossians 1:18, "And He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence." We have seen that the Lordship of Christ, our head, over sin, disease, Satan and circumstances, means that we are as free from them as He is. The Lordship of Christ means that sin and disease are no longer problems, no longer issues to the New Creation. There need be no more struggles with sin, no more battles with the Adversary, just an acting upon the Word of God.

As we study the history of the church, we find how little the great spiritual leaders have understood Redemption. For a period of one thousand years during the Dark Ages, the revelation of a Redemption in Christ independent of works was lost to the church. That dark period has had its influence upon the period from the Reformation to the present, so that it has been difficult for the church to see a complete Redemption. By reading any book on the experience of famous Christians in the past, we can see how the sin and weakness problem was majored in their lives, and how little they understood

Redemption. The message of this Revelation of Redemption is that God is clearly showing us that the sin problem is settled. The book of Hebrews is His commentary upon this fact. He shows us that once and for all Christ put sin away and that there need be no more offering for sin. He is satisfied with His work in Christ.

Read and study carefully the following scriptures: Hebrews 9:12, 26, 10:10, 14, 18.

The church has struggled with the sin problem in the face of the fact that God declares in His Word that He has settled it and that there need be no more offering for sin, no more dealing with it. God shows us that the New Creation is freed from even the consciousness of sin. Notice Hebrews 10:1-3, "For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh. Else would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshippers having been cleansed would have no more consciousness of sins."

Note that the Word declares that the sacrifices under the Old Covenant did not perfect the offerers. He tells us that if they had, the worshippers would have been freed from the consciousness of sin. Therefore, God was not satisfied (read the fifth and fourteenth verses of the same chapter) and sent His Son that He might do what the law and its sacrifices could not do, namely perfect those who offered them. He declares in the fourteenth verse, "For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified." He has perfected the New Creation by a complete eternal Redemption.

Hebrews 9:12, "But through his own blood entered once for all into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us." He has freed the New Creation from even the consciousness of sin. Satan has made the church sin-conscious when it should have been love-conscious. With its mind upon the sin problem, the church has missed the real issue. With a mind ruled by a sin-consciousness, the church has failed to have the mind of Christ.

The Love Issue

There is only one issue to the New Creation, and that is "Walking in Love." There is only one law that governs the New Creation, and that is the law of Love. There is one commandment given, the commandment of Love. John 13:34-35, "A new commandment I give unto you that ye love one another, even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another." The one problem that the New Creation confronts is given to us in Philippians 2:5-6, "Have this mind in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of man, and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the Cross."

He makes known to us here that He expects the New Creation to be of the same mind that Christ has. This reveals a complete Redemption. The Omnipotent God of the universe is saying, "I have so completely redeemed you from sin, weakness, disease, circumstances, and all the workings of the Adversary, that I expect you to be of the same mind as my Son. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." He is saying, "I want you to think as My Son thinks. I want you to be like Him; to live as He would live if He were in your place, to act as He would act, to be what He would be." "Have this mind in you that was in Christ Jesus." This is the issue that the New Creation faces. The mind of Christ was the love attitude. We know what love is through the Revelation of His life.

I John 3:16, "Hereby we know love, because He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethren." He existed in the form of God. All that God was, He was. He was the very image of His substance. Hebrews 1:3. He thought as God thought. He lived as God lived. He loved as God loved. He existed in the form of God.

He was so utterly one with God that He said to Philip, "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father" (John 14:9). He is really saying, "Philip, during the three years that you have been with me you have seen the Father, the very substance of His nature. In my actions you have seen the Father's actions; in my words you have heard the Father's words; in me you have seen the Father, for we are one."

He existed in the form of God. All the word "God" means, He was. He lived on an absolute equality with Him. Our minds cannot grasp the meaning of the word "God," for our minds are the work of His mind and His hands; but "the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork." We study the Universe around us, conscious of the fact that it is his handiwork. The greatness of the Universe is beyond our comprehension. We cannot fathom the distance of stars that are quintillions of miles away. We know that the Creator of this handiwork is greater. We know that in the domain of the invisible atom there is manifested the same intelligent order that rules the Universe of stars. We know that the Creator is as intelligent as the intelligent order of Creation.

The Universe contains personal beings who think, feel, love, suffer, choose and determine. We know that the Creator of personal beings must be as personal.

The word "God" means that to us. All that it means, He is. He is a God of love, and love compelled Him to do the following: He emptied Himself of his glory. He took the form of a servant, He who was equal to God. He was found in the fashion and likeness of man. He exchanged the form of God for the form of a man.

He, the Creator, took the form of His own handiwork; He, the Creator, emptied and limited Himself to the extent that He lived and walked on His own Creation. He through whom this vast, limitless, measureless Universe had been created, took up His abode upon this small planet, our earth. Then, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, yea, the death of the Cross. Then, He, who was as holy as God was, as untouched by sin as He, became sin. II Corinthians 5:21. This Divine suffering caused by Christ's becoming sin is unique. It has no analogy. We cannot measure it by anything with which we are acquainted. The sin of Adam, the sin-nature that passed upon all men, all its horribleness, penetrates the heart of God, Himself.

Christ's Belief in Love

We ask why He did this, why this tremendous sacrifice by One so great. The answer is, the Son of God believed in love. God is love. Herein is His Love manifested. Romans 5:6-8, "For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; for peradventure for the good man some one would even dare to die. But God commendeth His own love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 15:3, "For Christ also pleased not Himself, but, as it is written, the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me." The reproaches of man who had reproached God fell upon Him. The sins of man, who had sinned against God, fell upon Him. The judgment of man fell upon Him. The diseases, the weaknesses of man fell upon Him. Herein is His love manifested. The son of God faced the problem of sin, its entrance into the world through Adam's crime of high treason, and its reign over the human race.

He knew that by the sacrifice of Himself that He could put it away. He knew He could suffer in man's stead. He knew that He could bring Satan to nought on behalf of man. He believed in love, and He obeyed the dictates of love. He knew love's reward. He knew the joy set before Him when love had triumphed. He knew the harvest that love would reap. He knew that love would conquer.

The Problem of the New Creation

Now, the problem, the issue, that the New Creation faces is the problem that Christ faced. The man who has become a New Creation in Christ faces the need of spiritually-dead man. It is not given to him to die for them as did Christ, but his place is as essential as was Christ's. Unto the New Creation is given the message of Redemption to be given to humanity. Study carefully II Corinthians 5:18-19, "But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation ; to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation, we are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ."

Christ's work was to provide the reconciliation between God and man. Colossians 1:20, "And through Him to reconcile all things unto Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the Heavens." Also verse 22, "Yet now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death to present you holy and without blemish and unreprovable before Him."

Ephesians 2:11-22 also shows His reconciliation between God and man. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself; but He has committed unto us, the New Man in Christ, the message of Reconciliation."

Christ believed in Love and did His part. Seemingly Redemption has failed. How few have been reached with the message of reconciliation. Yet God has not failed; Christ has not failed. It is the Body of Christ that has failed to give the message of Redemption to humanity. If the Body of Christ had been of the same mind as Christ, the world's history would have been different. Paul saw the real issue which the New Creation faces. He gives it to us in II Corinthians 5:13-14, "For whether we are beside ourselves it is unto God: whether we are of sober mind it is unto you. For the love of Christ constraineth us for we thus judge, that one died for all: therefore all died."

Paul believed in love to the extent that he was believed to be beside himself. Paul's answer was, "The love of Christ has taken hold of my heart. I realize that Christ's death was every man's death." The same love that caused Christ to die for man had constrained Paul's heart and was causing him to live for them. The attitude of love is this, "I love them as though I had died for them." Love will make us ambassadors that are as anxious to win men as though we had died to provide the reconciliation. Paul had caught the vision of love. The great Roman Empire was evangelized largely through his efforts. Paul believed in love, so into the pagan world he went as Christ's ambassador, fully conscious that his message would be an offense to the Jew, foolishness to the Greek, and a jest to the Romans.

Yet he knew that only the message of Reconciliation in Christ would meet man's need.

Love's testimony is the following: "I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls" (II Corinthians 12:15). God is saying, "I want you to love as my Son loved. You can, for we are one. My nature is yours; My love is yours." He is asking us to yield to the Lordship of His Love within us. Romans 5:5, "Because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us."

Ephesians 3:16-19 is ours, "That He would grant you according to the riches of His glory that ye may be strengthened with power through His spirit in the inward man that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, and that ye may be filled unto all the fullness of God." He fills us with His fullness that we might love as He loves. The attitude of love is given in Romans 15:1-3, "Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one please his neighbor for that which is good, unto edifying. For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, `The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me."'

Love bears the weaknesses of the weak as though it were its own infirmity. Christ did not please Himself but took over the sins, disease, and judgment of others. Love doesn't criticize or condemn, but love will cause the New Creation in Christ to pray for the one ruled by sin as though he had been made sin for that one. Love will cause us to pray for the sick as though we were the ones who had borne their diseases and carried their pains. To love is to have the mind of Christ. The New Man in Christ, taking Christ's place, has a debt of love to pay to humanity. Romans 13:8, "Owe no man anything, save to love one another." This is the issue the New Creation faces, the debt of love we owe to humanity.

Thirsting After God

" ..."Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit".... - 2 Kings 2:9 The first requirement to move in greater power and authority in God is to hunger for it. Yet even this hunger is born from God. Elisha hungered after God. Elisha saw many miracles as Elijah's servant. But he wanted more. He wanted a double portion of Elijah's spirit. When he asked Elijah for this, the prophet responded, "You have asked a difficult thing." It wasn't because it couldn't be granted. Elijah knew that with great anointing came a great weight of responsibility and difficulty. Second, humility comes before honor. Elisha was known as the "servant of Elijah." How would you like to be known as "the servant of John"? Your name is not even mentioned. This was the preparation of Elisha. It has been the preparation of many men of God. Consider Joseph, the servant of Pharaoh. Consider David, the servant of Saul. Third, Elisha committed himself totally to his calling. The Scripture says when Elisha was called to join Elijah, the younger man left his farm business completely. He slaughtered his oxen and had a great feast for the community. It was all or nothing. He could not fall back on his farm trade if his new venture didn't work. This demonstrates Elisha's pioneer spirit in stepping out, not knowing what was ahead. Do you want greater anointing in God? "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you" (Jer. 29:13-14a). Begin thirsting for God's anointing in your heart today. This is the starting place. Resurrection Greatness

 

. . . He [Jesus] hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he [God] at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? . . . — HEBREWS 1:4,5

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. — ACTS 13:33

When did Jesus inherit His Name? When was it conferred upon Him?

It was conferred when Jesus was made alive out of spiritual death — when He was raised from the dead.

It was at Jesus’ resurrection that God said, “. . . Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.” And it was after His resurrection that Jesus revealed all authority in Heaven and in earth had been given to Him.

Every statement regarding the fact that Jesus’ Name was inherited or conferred upon Him, shows that Jesus received the greatness of His Name, the fullness of it, after His resurrection from the dead.

Confession: Jesus is Lord. He is risen from the dead, and He is Lord. The power and authority demonstrated in the resurrection abides in the Name and He has given that Name to me.

Let God Do It His Way

Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean. But Naaman was angry.... - 2 Kings 5:10-11, The Amplified Bible

So often we miss out on what God wants to do for us because He doesn't do it the way we think He should. We work up an idea in our minds about how He's going to heal us, for instance. We think He's going to send some famous preacher to lay hands on us or that He's going to knock us off our feet with a blast of His power. When He doesn't, we let our faith drop and foul up what He had actually planned to do. That's what Naaman did. He went to Elisha expecting to be healed in a particular way. When it didn't happen that way, the Bible says, he went away in a rage. What Elisha told him to do was simple. Dip seven times in the Jordan. Naaman could do that. But it didn't fit his idea of how his healing should take place. He thought Elisha would heal him by waving his hands around and calling on the Name of the Lord. Naaman stormed away and he would have missed out on his healing if one of his servants hadn't talked him into giving Elisha's instructions a try. I used to be like that. I wanted spectacular experiences from God so badly I was missing out on the experiences God had planned for me. Once I realized that, I quit looking for feelings and spectacular manifestations and just started expecting God to keep His Word. I remember I went to a meeting one night with my ankle messed up terribly. The pain was so severe it went from my foot all the way up to my shoulder blades. But I went into that meeting expecting God to heal me. During the praise service, I ignored the pain in my foot and just sang and worshiped with everyone else. When the preaching started, I got my Bible and got involved in the Word. Sure enough, sometime during that service I was healed. I don't know when it was. I didn't feel anything. I didn't see any sparklers go off. I didn't even realize I'd been healed until after the service. I got about halfway to the door and thought, Glory to God, my foot's well! Don't let your own ideas of how God's going to work rob you of your healing or your deliverance or your prosperity. Just trust Him and let Him do things His way. Daily Devotional, Jan. 13, 2022 Daily Devotional: Jan. 13, 2022 Exercise Your Rights He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 Jesus came to earth and gave Himself as a sacrifice for sin in order to buy back for you everything that Adam lost. He came to destroy all the works of the devil...sickness and disease included. Once you receive Him as Lord of your life, all the rights and privileges God originally intended you to have (the right to things like fellowship with God, health and prosperity) are restored. But you are the one who has to exercise those rights! You see, the devil is an outlaw and even though Jesus has taken away his authority in the earth, even though he has no legal right to kill or steal from the children of God, he’ll do it anyway...as long as you’ll let him get away with it. You must enforce his defeat by speaking the Word of God in faith. Act on His Word now. Demand that sickness and disease leave you in the Name of Jesus. Then refuse to back off that demand. Resist the devil with all you’ve got. He might fight you for a while, but sooner or later, he will have to flee from you! Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:1-17

HOW TO SEE IN THE SPIRIT!

 I'd like to share with you a dynamic truth that will absolutely revolutionize your life. For over 45 years I have been divinely led and guided by the Holy Ghost. Yes, many times I have fallen short, yet many times my life and my family's lives have been saved by divine guidance and intervention.

Now the word declares that we as believers hear his voice, and we follow. Yet I run into many believers who are not hearing the voice of God. I do think many people hear his voice and simply ignore him.

I want you to know that you can hear the voice of God, and be led by him in very precise ways. Let me give you an example of divine guidance within the last three days. Saturday night I was at a wonderful gathering of believers. The guest speaker on Saturday night (9/29/18) finished ministering and encouraged all of us to minister to those who were around us.

There is a sister in Christ who was standing right in front of me. Immediately the Holy Ghost drew my attention to her. As I looked at her from behind I had a mental image that came to my mind. I saw by the spirit that she had a problem with her left leg and hip. I also heard the Lord say she has heart problems. Now when it came to the heart I was not sure if it meant a broken heart emotionally, or physical problems.

I simply responded to what I believe the Lord was telling me. I tapped her on the shoulder and I said to her: do you have a problem with your left hip, and something is going on with your heart. I'm not sure if it's physical or emotional. I said to her, either way, God will heal it. Tears filled her eyes and she acknowledged she needed God to touch those areas in her life.

In almost every situation when the Lord shows me something, and unless it's the gift of faith in operation in me at that time, I will ask them, and not tell them.

She allowed me to pray for her. As I did the Holy Ghost moved upon her in a wonderful way. When I was done praying, as I looked at her face, I saw it into the spirit. I call this the second level of visions. The first level was when the Lord showed me her hip and her heart with a mental image. This time it was like a transparency over her face. I saw that the left and right side of her nose had major issues. I also saw what I thought was an invisible lump on the top of her nose.

I said to her: what is going on with your nose. You realize this was not something that you could visibly see with the natural eyes. I was looking into the spirit by the Holy Ghost. She responded immediately that she had had cancer in her nose, and on top of it. That they had operated on her, but she was still having issues. I asked her if I could pray? She gave me permission. Make sure you always get permission! Do not be pushy or arrogant in the operating of these gifts.

I prayed for her in the name of Jesus Christ. Once again God moved wonderfully.

Last night at our Monday night prayer meeting there was just a small group of us gathered. Three of us brothers and a sister in Christ. As one of the brothers was standing there (Sam by name) I was about 7 feet away from him. As I looked at him I saw in the spirit what I call the second level of vision. His whole stomach area was all twisted in knots, disrupted. I also saw that something was going on in his intestines.

I asked him: Sam is there something going on with your stomach, your digestive system in your intestines. Now, this was a progressive conversation. He told us: yes God has touched me in those areas, but I still have major problems. I asked him if we could lay hands on him and pray over him. He said yes. The minute I put my hand on his lower stomach, I perceived immediately that he also had a hernia. I did not mention this to him. After we got done praying, he mentioned also that he had a hernia.

Once again we laid hands on him, and I began to command that hernia to be sucked back in. Back in 1975 as a young Christian, I prayed for a man who had a hernia. When suddenly miraculously that hernia literally was sucked back inside of this brothers stomach lining, and he was healed instantly.

Now at this prayer meeting, this precious sister asked me how is it that you see into the spirit. I want to know the five different levels of the Spirit. I told her the SIMPLE TRUTH! Yes, the simple truth. I said the four most important things in your life is God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost who lives inside of you.

The next major important truth is GODS WORD HID IN YOUR HEART! Then, of course, the next would be your prayer life built and based upon nothing but the Truth of God's Word. Peter and the apostles had a revelation of this. That is why they boldly declared this truth discovered in the book of acts.

Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
